This will be a quickie post as it's crazy busy this time of year trying to get everything shot and processed in time for holiday delivery...at this time all Holiday Portrait sessions are sold out...if you are pregnant or expecting a newborn, or don't need holiday delivery, there is still some limited availability before the end of the year...Thank you all so much for your patience!

October as many of you know was National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I think it's safe to say that everyone reading has had their lives touched by at least one courageous warrior battling this disease.

Recently i had the pleasure to photograph one such warrior.

Fall Maternity Photography

I am so excited to share a few from a recent family maternity session!
We were initially scheduled for late Summer, but in the hopes of catching some lovely Fall foliage we waited it out...and waited...and waited...and..well...we couldn't wait too much longer as Mom is due in just a few weeks lol!

Meet the family of three who will soon become a family of four...check out big brother, Carter and his gorgeous baby blues...Hi Carter!!

Newborn Photography

Meet Yadon! You first got a glimpse of him if you scroll down a bit...mom and his lovely big sister, Chi had a maternity photography session with me not too long ago.
Look at this handsome little guy!
He also got his first modeling gig at just a few days old lol! I featured him in a display at a new local boutique right down the street from my studio...but more on that in an upcoming post!

How sweet is he?!!

Sibling Photography =)

Look at these two Little Lovelies!! Miss Anna is nearly a year old. I first photographed her as a newborn...i couldn't believe how much she's changed. i thought it would be fun to show a 'then and now' along with a couple more from our recent session!

Road Trip!

My photography sessions normally take place in or around my studio in Occoquan, Va, but today i made a road trip to a neighboring state to capture this 'big guy'. This was my 3rd time photographing him and i was so excited to see how much he's changed! He is SO cute i could just eat him!!

The Beautiful "Miss B"

Miss B was a true delight for this lucky Northern Virginia Photographer! She had the biggest brown eyes and THE longest lashes. She loved to sing and play with her 'lovies'.
She was very sweet and petite..and just 16 months old =)

A Little Treasure:

5 Days New!!

Hiding head in shame..i have been REALLY bad about updating my blog...i will blame that on *trying* to balance work with having my daughter home for the Summer. It's been tricky but we've been doing great! So my apologies to my usual 'blog stalkers' for the delays lol!
Hopefully this adorable baby boy will make you smile, and forget about what a bad blogger i have been lately...but i will be posting more soon =)

2 BEAUTIFUL 'baby bumps' =)

I had the privilege of photographing two expectant Moms recently...they were both GLOWING and absolutely stunning.
The first Mama was photographed during a 'blessingway' which is similar to a baby shower but it's ALL about the Mom where some heavy pampering takes place. WOOHOO!
The design on Mama's belly was painted with henna by her friends, which made for an extra neato 'belly shot'!

I Miss Her Already....Stephanie, Age 2 1/ 2

It's taken me a few days to be able to compose this post, mainly because i get a little 'drippy' every time i try to sit and type. Steph's Daddy has been transferred out to Colorado, so Thursday we set up a 'final session' before they head out.
I first photographed Stephanie just after she started sitting up on her own. She was such a beautiful baby, and even back then her personality was infectious. She's lovely, charming, personable and of course extremely photogenic ;-). I can't even believe how much she's changed and grown with each session. The uber chubby feet and thighs have made way for a tall, demure little girl who stands proud and smiles sweetly at me. She's full of giggles and raspberries and i am going to miss her terribly.
