Spring Portraits!

Howdy Friends and Fans! A lot of the work i have been doing over the last couple of years has been more editorial/commercial in nature so i haven't been able to post much of it just yet if at all. However, i do want to share a few portraits from a recent session, featuring a gorgeous family of 5 boys. Newborn Photography: Christmas Blessings

Had the great pleasure of photographing this beautiful family as they welcomed a newborn son to the world.  He's just eleven days young!!!  Also want to take a moment to thank everyone for all the support this last year. 
The studio will be on limited hours between now and January 3rd.  We have very limited openings, mostly reserved for Boutique Petite sessions and newborns, so contact the studio as soon as possible to see what's still available.
It's been a great 2017 and we're looking forward to welcoming 2018!

Winter Portraits

The old year has passed, and the studio is already buzzing in early 2017!  Since i continue to be a bad sporadic blogger, i will be sharing some sessions that i've never gotten around to posting, in addition to my latest work.
The 'birthday' session below was one of the last ones of 2016.  It's a family i've had the joy to photograph several times over the last few years.  Enjoy!

It's a huge understatement to say that this year has FLOWN by, and staying true to myself, i realize i have been the worst blogger ever!!!  I suppose it's *GREAT* that we've been busy with a huge variety of photo shoots, and hopefully in the coming days i will share what we've been up to over the last number of months!!  Today i am sharing a lovely Grandma and her adorable grandsons. Occoquan recently had the Grand Opening of the new Park, so we were able to take advantage of the new LOVE sign!  Enjoy the photos and enjoy the rest of the summer!  Tomorrow we leave for Minnesota to photograph a wedding over the weekend.  Stay tuned, and thank you again for all the support over these last many years!!!

We were supposed to get some snow yesterday, but it missed us in Historic Occoquan at Lisa Julia Photography! It was still pretty chilly and dreary, and it looks like the flowers will be blooming late, but that's no problem!...we make 'Spring' happen right inside the studio! So this happened just a few short moments before the heavens opened up and it began to pour.  My new friend and i (and his mom and big brother) walked back to our cars while the 'liquid sunshine' cooled us off. It was actually kind of fun to be caught in the rain.  Happy Mother's Day =)

Matilda Jane Clothing Review: It's A Wonderful Parade

I continue to be very humbled to take part in another review for Matilda Jane Clothing.  This time our lovely model is wearing a girl's size 12 Roller Coaster Tiered Ellie Dress.
As always, Matilda Jane delivers an amazing product that girls love to wear!!  The attention to detail, especially in the fun and funky color combinations make their boutique clothing a huge favorite!  The fabric is soft and durable, and most of all it is modest, stylish and COMFORTABLE!  You can pair this particular dress with so many different colors and accessories.  Since it was a breezy Spring Day when we were doing the photo shoot, we opted for a simple necklace and simple hair pretties, but this dress will also look amazing with the Blue Ribbon Leggings.
