Howdy Friends and Fans! A lot of the work i have been doing over the last couple of years has been more editorial/commercial in nature so i haven't been able to post much of it just yet if at all. However, i do want to share a few portraits from a recent session, featuring a gorgeous family of 5 boys. Another Beautiful High School Senior!

FALLing into Senior portraits!  This beautiful young woman has been photographed by me a number of times over the years, but her Senior Session was particularly special to me.  Seems like she went from sweet little girl to beautiful young woman overnight!

Currently booking for late Fall...and Christmas.  The years keep going by faster and faster.  Don't let them slip away without making your memories into ART!

High school seniors are so much fun to photograph! As the weather gets cooler, i've been scheduling as many seniors as possible to get that last bit of Autumn color!  If you weren't able to get on the schedule this month, no worries, the studio has many lovely backdrops of all kinds/styles...and it's warm =)  We look forward to working with you soon!

This Beautiful Princess came back to the studio for the third time, but for this session she brought her 9 day old baby sister!  The studio is currently booking into the winter and we have several openings left for Christmas portraits.  As always we thank you for your support and look forward to working with you!

What to Wear for a Photo Session!

One of the most frequently asked questions i receive is 'what should I wear?' I thought a few examples might be helpful for those planning to book their sessions in the coming days. Basic rule of thumb is to mix patterns, textures and solids that incorporate similar colors, without being all 'matchy-matchy'. Here are some ideas! Fall portrait sessions are booking now!

The navy blue compliments this sweet boy very well, and is a nice contrast to the pattern and texture of his shorts.

With a beautiful, large family, it can be a challenge to figure out what everyone should wear! This family pulled it off perfectly with a great mix of patterns and solids that pull together wonderfully!

 I love that this couple mixed up the red, white, and blue with various patterns in the shirt, flag scarf and bright red solid. It came together perfectly!

Love the vibrant pattern and classic look this couple put together. Perfect!

Winter Portraits

The old year has passed, and the studio is already buzzing in early 2017!  Since i continue to be a bad sporadic blogger, i will be sharing some sessions that i've never gotten around to posting, in addition to my latest work.

Fall Portrait Special!

We are getting close to sweater weather! Time to think about some beautiful Fall Portraits! This is the time of year i sell out the quickest, and now that i am offering a super rate for mini sessions, there is no better time to book! 

Unicorn Mini Photo Sessions Woodbridge Virginia

Taking a moment to share a few recent portraits from one of our 'Boutique Petite' mini session events.  It took some effort to secure the *perfect* magical unicorn but in the end, we ended up with lots of giggling little girls, a beautiful sunny day and a very peaceful and cooperative unicorn.
