Boy did summer fly by fast or what?! Hard to believe we're already in the middle of September. I continue to be grateful to my incredible clients whether they are portrait clients or freelance contracts for commercial work. I always enjoy meeting all of you and creating memories together. I am looking forward to a very busy Fall!

Spring Portraits!

Howdy Friends and Fans! A lot of the work i have been doing over the last couple of years has been more editorial/commercial in nature so i haven't been able to post much of it just yet if at all. However, i do want to share a few portraits from a recent session, featuring a gorgeous family of 5 boys. Newborn Photography: Christmas Blessings

Had the great pleasure of photographing this beautiful family as they welcomed a newborn son to the world.  He's just eleven days young!!!  Also want to take a moment to thank everyone for all the support this last year. 
The studio will be on limited hours between now and January 3rd.  We have very limited openings, mostly reserved for Boutique Petite sessions and newborns, so contact the studio as soon as possible to see what's still available.
It's been a great 2017 and we're looking forward to welcoming 2018!

This Beautiful Princess came back to the studio for the third time, but for this session she brought her 9 day old baby sister!  The studio is currently booking into the winter and we have several openings left for Christmas portraits.  As always we thank you for your support and look forward to working with you!

What to Wear for a Photo Session!

One of the most frequently asked questions i receive is 'what should I wear?' I thought a few examples might be helpful for those planning to book their sessions in the coming days. Basic rule of thumb is to mix patterns, textures and solids that incorporate similar colors, without being all 'matchy-matchy'. Here are some ideas! Fall portrait sessions are booking now!

The navy blue compliments this sweet boy very well, and is a nice contrast to the pattern and texture of his shorts.

With a beautiful, large family, it can be a challenge to figure out what everyone should wear! This family pulled it off perfectly with a great mix of patterns and solids that pull together wonderfully!

 I love that this couple mixed up the red, white, and blue with various patterns in the shirt, flag scarf and bright red solid. It came together perfectly!

Love the vibrant pattern and classic look this couple put together. Perfect!

Days like today make me very thankful that i have an air-conditioned studio!! It's been a very hot summer so far! Enjoy this precious baby girl, just nine days new!

I think i've come to the realization that i am not a writer....and a lot of times, that fact has kept me from making a blog entry...when really, it's not about what i say with words.  Really, it's about what i say with my camera.  So with that in mind, i will simply be sharing some recent sessions, along with some i never made time to share before.
As always, the support you've all shown over the years is much appreciated.  Fall is pretty much booked, but there is still time to get some portraits in time for the Holidays =)

I think i figured out what makes blogging such a challenge.  Making the time is the main thing, but then trying to decide what to post!  I am not exactly what you would call a 'writer', and when i have trouble trying to figure out something 'clever' to post, i often don't know what to say, and therefore i just don't post...then sooo much time goes by.  Well...i am really going to make an effort to just let my portraits do the talking, and do my best to just share what speaks to me...and to do it more often =)

2013 is off to a great start, and we're looking forward to the warmer weather and getting back outside!

Celebrating all the Veterans!
