Well hello there! It's been awhile!!!  And WOW has this winter ever dragged on.  I actually enjoy winter, mainly because i love snow but we've been short on snow and big on cold! Here we are in April and i realize i haven't blogged since December.  So...let's catch up, shall we? The first quarter of 2018 has mostly been devoted to commercial photography with some outdoor portrait sessions sprinkled in the mix when weather permitted. We even had a Christening and a big event for a publisher to round things out!  Right now it's still pretty chilly but we did manage to have a day just before the cherry blossoms really popped, which provided a really pretty backdrop for this high school senior.  Enjoy!  And thanks for stopping by.  As always, you can book your very own session by contacting the studio today.  We look forward to working with you!

Fall Portraits

Fall portraits have been in full swing all over the DMV!  I traveled to Maryland to capture this beautiful family, as they celebrated the 1st birthday of their youngest child.  The weather and the foliage were perfect!

Newborn Photography: Occoquan Virginia Portrait Studio

Hope everyone is settling in nicely to 2016!  The studio is already buzzing lately, especially with beautiful newborn babies. A newborn portrait session captures a special time in the life of your child; the babies change so quickly from day to day!  If you are expecting, we have several session options. So this happened just a few short moments before the heavens opened up and it began to pour.  My new friend and i (and his mom and big brother) walked back to our cars while the 'liquid sunshine' cooled us off. It was actually kind of fun to be caught in the rain.  Happy Mother's Day =)

Matilda Jane Clothing Review: It's A Wonderful Parade

I continue to be very humbled to take part in another review for Matilda Jane Clothing.  This time our lovely model is wearing a girl's size 12 Roller Coaster Tiered Ellie Dress.
As always, Matilda Jane delivers an amazing product that girls love to wear!!  The attention to detail, especially in the fun and funky color combinations make their boutique clothing a huge favorite!  The fabric is soft and durable, and most of all it is modest, stylish and COMFORTABLE!  You can pair this particular dress with so many different colors and accessories.  Since it was a breezy Spring Day when we were doing the photo shoot, we opted for a simple necklace and simple hair pretties, but this dress will also look amazing with the Blue Ribbon Leggings.
